Born and raised in the ancient town of Anagni Italy, Marco grew up with a passion for the unique flavours of the Italian food culture. Traditional recipes that passed down form generations of his family and friends were improved upon and reworked to give a modern twist.

Gelato was always a favourite of his. This delicate freshly made dessert with its fresh seasonal fruits was churned in large brass bowls and crafted by artisan creators in limited batches.

Marco studied and learned these specialist techniques from those artisans of days gone by and makes his own unique and delicious gelato available for you today.

Now located in Devon England, Marco runs a successful Italian restaurant based in Budleigh Salterton.

He began making gelato on a small scale for customers in his restaurant as part of his dessert menu – the response was overwhelmingly positive! His fresh and flavour some high-quality gelato was an instant hit with diners who, due to demand, urged him to create even more flavours.

He expanded the gelato menu and demand increased. This got to the point where he could barely keep up with demand, selling out every time.

In order to keep growing this new business, Marco ventured back to his home town in Italy and acquired the equipment and machinery necessary to create his fresh gelato in far higher quantities, without losing the level of hand-crafted care he puts into his food. He returned to England and got to work, mixing in flavours from his childhood and popular local flavours to create truly one-of-a-kind gelato.
